Barre: Barre is a dynamic workout incorporating ballet, pilates, and cardio bursts. It focuses on targeting the core, arms, glutes, and legs. This class is appropriate for all levels and no previous barre experience is needed to join! Barre will challenge students to refine and strengthen during this ever evolving class!
Core Balance: Find grounding by building a strong core awareness that allows for a deeper and safer yoga practice. Increase your understanding of the complex core and how to utilize it throughout your yoga practice.
Flow and Yin: The perfect blend of flow movement and stillness in Yin postures. Explore breath based Vinyasa flow to build strength and flexibility, challenging balance and concentration. Then settle onto the mat to hold Yin poses, targeting the connective tissues of the body to release deeply stored tension before you experience deep relaxation in shavasana. All levels welcome.
First Friday Fun Flow:An energetic vinyasa flow class performed to music that will get the party started on your mat.
Gentle Flow and Meditation: Gentle indicates the class is not vigorous, but slow and soothing, perfect for those wanting a more relaxed and softer practice. Excellent for beginners. This class also works in a deeper meditation practice.
HIIT + Yoga: Experience High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) complimented with the meditative practice of yoga! Breath and body become one in this challenging journey of cardio and strength coupled with flexibility and flow. The room will be heated between 80-85 degrees for this juicy class that is sure to make you sweat!
Little Yogis: Adults will partner up with their little yogi (ages 3 to 5) in poses designed build trust and body awareness. This light hearted class will have you and your yogi laughing and playing together. Begin the yoga journey here.
Sunrise Yoga: Be the first to salute the sun! Starting the day with an open heart, a flexible spine, and a calm spirit will help improve your body – and improve your life. This class will focus on building strength, connecting movement with breath, calming the mind so our day can begin with strength and grace. Weather permitting, this class will take place at Unwined Upstairs, watching the sunrise as we practice.
Vinyasa Flow: Flowing, dynamic sequence of poses that synchronize the breath with continuous flow of postures. No two vinyasa classes are the same. So if you are seeking variety in your practice, this is the class for you. This class is open level, all are welcome.
Warm Power Flow: This is a powerful, energetic vinyasa style of practice that will challenge you with its focus on building strength and concentration as you move fluidly from one pose to another while connecting the breath to the movement. This type of class is meant to challenge you and your existing practice. You may leave feeling energized and “blissed out”! Not recommended for beginners who do not have a basic knowledge of yoga postures. *The room will be heated between 80-85 degrees.*
Yoga for Athletes: All sports can be benefited by a yoga practice. This practice will focus on building core strength and balance, growing flexibility to protect muscles from injury, and improve breathing. Let your instructor know what sports you participate in and how your body is feeling and they can shape the practice to your individual needs. Intended for practitioners 15 years and older.
Yoga Basics: This class will guide you through the fundamentals of yoga and overall wellness. We will explore sun salutations and other integral poses, begin connecting the poses to the breath, and learn the yoga lingo. Fundamental classes move slowly and include detailed instruction on alignment as well as gentle hands-on assists. Yoga Pilates Fusion: Blend some of your favorites together for a challenging hour of mind/body bliss! Experience flexibility and balance through yoga flow with an enhanced focus on building core strength as you consciously move your body through Pilates mat exercises. If you like to mix things up, this just might be the class for you! The room will be heated between 78-80 degrees.
Yoga Sculpt: A calorie scorching class that fuses yoga flow principles with cardio bursts and toning moves to leave you feeling long and strong.
Young Yogis: This playful practice is for students ages 6 to 9. Allow your little one to explore how their body moves as they experience basic poses, mindfulness, and build self-awareness.
Youthful Yogis: Unwined from school by incorporating this practice into your week. This class is designed for students ages 10 to 14. Instructors will introduce the basic vinyasa style practice, while empowering students to stand strong in their true self. This class helps with the emotional ups and downs that life can bring.
